Who we are?
iSEE INstitute for Socio-Economic Expertise is a foundation created by economists, political scientists, sociologists and social activists.
Our goal is to engage researchers and social leaders to actively support civil society and European values in public life.
What we do?
iSEE conducts academic research, prepares studies, analyses and forecasts for the needs of public life. We also conduct market and public opinion research.
In cooperation with domestic and international partners, we conduct trainings, internships, organize conferences, summer schools, symposia, lectures, debates and simulations.
Activities
iSEE's activities focus on the issues of systemic and social change and their consequences for the economy and social life.
We devote a lot of attention to social perception for the decisions made and for the effectiveness of all political and social activities.
We conduct interdisciplinary research and seek a broader perspective on understanding the economic, social and political world.
Main areas of research
For over 10 years, iSEE has been conducting research on Poland and other Eastern European countries, including Ukraine.
iSEE conducted large-scale scientific and social research in cooperation with the Ukrainian foundation “Nasz Wybór" financed by the European Fund for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals (EFI). This research included a socio-economic analysis of the situation of highly qualified migrants on the Polish market. The results of the research can be found here: [link]
